Delivery Manager
We are looking for a Delivery Manager who will take ownership of successful delivery, not only in terms of scope, budget, and timelines, but also in terms of client satisfaction, team well-being, and long-term project success.
This role is for someone who knows that good delivery comes from aligned expectations, open communication, and adapting the way of working to what the project actually needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that project commitments are met and contractual obligations are fulfilled.
- Act as a bridge between clients, internal teams, and stakeholders, translating needs, constraints, and expectations into shared understanding.
- Build and maintain trust-based relationships with clients, ensuring they feel heard, supported, and confident in delivery.
- Create an environment where project teams can work efficiently, openly, and in a positive, respectful atmosphere.
- Select and adapt the most appropriate delivery approach for each project (predictive, agile, or hybrid), rather than applying a one-size-fits-all methodology.
- Lead projects through change, uncertainty, and evolving requirements in a structured and transparent way.
- Systematically document decisions, risks, changes, and agreements to ensure clarity and continuity.
- Monitor progress, manage risks and dependencies, and proactively address issues before they escalate.
- Continuously improve delivery practices by introducing new ways of working, tools, and processes when they add value.
- Balance business goals, client expectations, and team capacity to achieve sustainable delivery.
Required Experience & Skills
- Proven experience delivering software projects.
- Experience working closely with software development teams and understanding technical constraints and trade-offs.
- Good understanding of different delivery approaches, including predictive, agile, and hybrid models.
- Ability to balance client expectations, contractual commitments, and team capacity.
- Strong facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to align different stakeholders around shared goals.
- Structured and systematic approach to decision-making, documentation, and change management.
- Ability to identify improvement opportunities and independently introduce new practices, tools, or ways of working.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset.
- Good English communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Project management certification such as PMP, PMI-ACP, or similar.
- Hands-on experience in software development or a technical background.
- Experience working in or with the telco industry.
